After gaining a certain understanding of the selection of single headed tubes, we will now answer how to handle these questions for you:
At first, both electrical appliances and electrical circuits may be live. According to the on-site conditions, those who are allowed to cut off power should immediately cut off the power and extinguish the fire. If the power is not cut off in a timely manner, the fire extinguisher's body or handheld fire-fighting equipment may touch the live part and cause an electric shock; If it is impossible to cut off the power supply, the fire shall be extinguished with electricity, and the use of conductive extinguishing agent, such as DC water jet from the water gun and foam from the foam extinguisher, may also cause electric shock; After a fire occurs, electrical appliances and electrical circuits may leak electricity due to insulation damage, and wires may break and ground, causing the metal shell of the appliance, the normally uncharged metal frame, to conduct electricity with the ground, and thus leading to the danger of contact voltage or step voltage shock.
Therefore, after discovering a fire, the first thing to do is to cut off the power supply. Pay attention to the following points when cutting off the power supply
a. After a fire occurs, due to moisture, smoke, or high temperature baking, the insulation capacity of the switch electrical appliances decreases. Therefore, insulated tools should be used to open the switch according to the situation.
b. When an electromagnetic contactor is installed online, the electromagnetic contactor should be opened first, and then the switch should be opened to avoid causing arc short circuits; When equipped with a sub switch and a main switch, it is advisable to first disconnect the sub switch and then disconnect the main switch.
C. When cutting aerial wires, the cutting position should be selected near the support object in the direction of the power supply to avoid short circuits and step voltage electric shock accidents caused by the wire falling off after cutting. When cutting wires, wires of different phases should be cut at different locations to avoid short circuits when cutting wires;
The above are all countermeasures for single ended pipe fires.
