1. If the single head pipe is used for a long time and there is a thick accumulation of pipe scale and oil scale on the surface, it should be removed regularly, otherwise it will reduce the heat transfer performance of the single head pipe and cause the surface heat load of the pipe to exceed the rated allowable limit and be damaged.
2. The heating part of the single head tube should be fully immersed in the heating medium to avoid rapid heat dissipation and exceeding the allowable heating temperature, causing damage to the single head tube. In addition, the wiring outlet should be exposed outside the insulation layer or heater to prevent overheating and damage.
3. The terminal of the single headed tube should be kept clean and dry. Otherwise, it will reduce the insulation performance and be short circuited and broken down. If it is used in an environment with chemical corrosion, flammable, explosive liquids or gases, the wiring part of the single headed tube should be tightly protected with insulation sealing devices to prevent accidents.
When heating certain substances such as adhesives, such as sodium nitrate, stearic acid, paraffin, etc., the power supply voltage should be reduced at the beginning of heating to reduce the heat generation of the single head tube. When all of them are melted into liquid, they should be raised to the rated voltage for heating.
5. When inputting power, the voltage should not exceed 10% of the rated voltage indicated on various single headed tubes. If applied below the rated voltage, the heat generated by the single headed tube will also decrease.
6. Special single headed pipes should carefully read the relevant instructions before installation and use to avoid damage.
7. For single ended tube terminals, two nuts should be tightened relative to each other during wiring. Do not apply too much force to prevent loose screws from leading out and damaging the single ended tube.
8. When selecting a single headed tube, special attention should be paid to the heating medium. There should be no corrosive effect on the single head shell material.
9. Single headed pipes should be stored in a dry warehouse. If the surface is damp due to long-term storage, a megohmmeter should be used to measure the insulation resistance before use. If it is less than 1 megaohm/500 volts, the single ended tube should be dried in a 200 degree drying oven.
