Tubular electric heating elements are made of metal tubes as the outer shell (including stainless steel and copper tubes), and spiral electric heating alloy wires (nickel chromium, iron chromium alloy) are uniformly distributed along the central axis of the tube. The gaps are filled and compacted with magnesium oxide sand with good insulation and thermal conductivity. The ends of the tube are sealed with silicone gel. This type of metal armored electric heating element can heat air, metal molds, and various liquids. In layman's terms, it refers to the carrier that converts electrical energy into thermal energy. The usual practice is to place an electric heating wire inside a metal pipe fitting, and fill the insulation modified magnesium oxide powder around the electric heating wire to fix it and transfer heat. When using a single head electric heating tube, attention should be paid to several points to prevent leakage.
1. During storage and use, attention should be paid to the waterproofing of the wiring terminals of the single headed tube to prevent problems such as leakage and short circuit caused by water entering the interior of the electric heating tube.
2. When a single headed tube is heated as a solid object at room temperature, such as asphalt, paraffin, etc., the voltage should be lowered and the electric heating should be turned on at the beginning of heating. When the solid melts, it should be raised to the rated voltage.
3. It is necessary to distinguish between the single head tube for heating liquid and the single head tube for heating air, and to prevent dry burning of boiling water. When boiling water to dry, the heating part should be completely immersed in water to prevent the heating tube from exploding and leaking due to high temperature.
4. When using electric heating tubes for air heating, attention should be paid to the uniform arrangement of the electric heating tubes. The advantage of doing so is to ensure that the electric heating tubes have sufficient and uniform heat dissipation space, and to ensure the fluidity of the air as much as possible, improving the heating efficiency of the single head tube.
